The “Open Publishing” model enables authors and content owners to contribute articles and media to wyki communities as “freelance publishers”: 1. you keep full copyright to content you contribute and can use it freely elsewhere; 2. prominent bylines link your content to your profile page or website, and 3. your own advertising may be attached to your content on the wyki and 100% of the revenues retained, for example using a Google AdSense account. Community authors can also specify that their content should be completely advertising free or assign house advertising from a chosen charity.
